Eye Cream

Do any of you use eye creams? When is the right time to even start using one? I just started using a gentle one recently. I'm in my twenties, and I figure it's never too early to start!
This is the one I'm currently using:
Eye Love Cucumber Soothing Eye Gel

It's really soothing and gentle to my eyes, so I like it. Plus it's made with cucumbers which are supposed to be fab for your eyes!
These are also supposed to be wonderfully effective:
Perscriptives Anti-Age Advanced Protection Eye Cream SPF 25

AGE DEF-EYE™ CREAM with SPF 15

I'm looking for a good eyecream....

I'm terrible at remembering to use it but I did start in my twenties. I've jumped from brand to brand and will need to check my bathroom for the current one I'm using. Preventative care is the best medicine :)
p.s. I must remember to watch that movie!

I'm only 23, but I've just started using Clique Eye defense cream. I figure, why start when you have fine lines? Be proactive about it! :)
September 1, 2009 at 3:42 PM
I want to try out the mac fast response eye cream! It makes my little lines on my hand disappear :D But I wonder what long term effects it has.. lol

I've been using an eye cream since my teens, but it wasn't an anti-ageing one, however when my current one runs out I'm going to switch to an anti-ageing one.

I'm currently using Prescriptives All You Need for Eyes.

I am always trying new eye creams...I don't have wrinkles near my eyes yet, but it is never too early to start!
September 1, 2009 at 7:15 PM
I recently discovered "lines" on my left eyelid! it's really bizarre, anything that you'd recommend for that?
September 1, 2009 at 7:27 PM
hmmm...i don't use an eye cream but after reading this and the comments i'm feeling like i might need to reconsider my bedtime regime and add some cream!
September 1, 2009 at 8:11 PM
I agree - it's never to early to start taking preventative measures! =)
September 1, 2009 at 11:33 PM

September 2, 2009 at 8:11 AM

I am a big believer in Aveeno right now-- don't mind their anti wrinkle cream!
Shiseido and Natura Bisse are my go to brands as well.

I have tried eye cream before, but when I moved to Houston, it got lost in the shuffle and I never replaced it. This reminds me that I should get some! I might try out one of these.

Does the one you're using help with circles?
September 3, 2009 at 7:07 AM
I'm using one from The Organic Pharmacy but it does nothing for me :(
September 3, 2009 at 10:10 AM
I've thought about using one...I'm scared of getting crows feet! Eek!
September 3, 2009 at 3:50 PM

September 4, 2009 at 12:15 AM

September 4, 2009 at 7:43 AM
My sister is 24 and uses one. Not sure what she uses, but I know she does. I guess it's never too early.
September 5, 2009 at 7:10 AM
ahaha... you know what? I thought the title was Ice cream, hahaha xD
Okay, I've never used one, I don't know if I should already, since I'm a lazy and forgetful girl... ah, I'm so eww...
September 6, 2009 at 2:59 PM
It is NEVER too early to start using eye cream. I always say early prevention is better than trying to fix things later. I've been using eye creams since my early twenties and my sister hasn't used any consistently and I have to say that my eye wrinkles are way less noticeable then hers and we are only 3 years apart.

Fabulous goodies! The eye gel sounds really good.
I really liked your blog.
See you soon.
September 8, 2009 at 2:48 PM
Hmmm, I think I should try some of these!
September 10, 2009 at 9:06 PM
Hey Lily, just wanted to make sure you were OK! Hope you're well, hon. xx
September 11, 2009 at 7:33 AM
I actually just ran out of eye cream! HA! I have been using eye cream for about 5 years now and I'm only 22! BUT I believe in prevention! They say the earlier you start the better off you are and I can really notice a difference when I stop using it (like right now cause I'm out) I have tried a bunch of different ones of the years but my fav. is from Clinque.

I'm addicted to my eye serum gel that I keep in the fridge. It never fails me to feel more awake in the morning!!!
September 11, 2009 at 12:04 PM
It is good to start early. Usually after age 25 we will begin to see fine lines. : ( BTW, I have a Perricone Eye Lift Giveaway right now. : )
September 11, 2009 at 2:27 PM
I should probably start using a product like these...
September 13, 2009 at 8:51 PM
I'm tempted to try it. I do not use eye creams, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't! Xoxo-BLC

My mom has been making me put cream on my face since the age of 12. I definitely think it's never too early. My husband loves to make fun of me because of my cream obsession.
September 16, 2009 at 8:20 AM
Your right its never too early to start using eye cream-there are two that work absolute miracles-lavera eye cream and epione.
September 16, 2009 at 11:07 AM
I've tried Shiseido and it's pretty decent - I want to say it smoothed out the fine lines. I'm totally worried about bags under my eyes though. My parents don't have lines, but both have bags.
September 27, 2009 at 9:51 AM
I have never before tried eye cream myself; though the Cucumber Soothing Eye Gel sounds quite appealing! :)

Before we get into the eye creams that can help us achieve this feat, let's have a look at the causes of causes of aging on our face. Sun exposure, improper diet, lack of physical activities, and smoking can lead to signs of aging on our skin. You will often come across many individuals who look older than their real calendar age.
