LASIK, Here I Come!!!

So it's official. I went in for a consultation a couple weeks ago and was found to be a good candidate for Lasik. I was stuck wearing glasses for the past 2 weeks (oh so annoying!) to prepare for Lasik. This was a huge struggle for me because I practically live in my contacts. But I will be finally getting Lasik tomorrow!!!
I'm kind of nervous and freaked out about it...

The boy got it done a few years ago, and he said it was one of the best decisions he made. Thank goodness he will be coming with me tomorrow because I'm going to be a nervous wreck. The doctor said that they could give me some valium to help control my nerves (YES PLEASE!). He said it will be like drinking a martini, haha. I hope everything goes well. It will be so awesome to just wake up and see clearly without having to fumble for my glasses or contacts!
I might not be able to blog for a few days after I get the Lasik done because my eyes may be super sensitive, so sorry in advance if I'm MIA with blogging!

P.S. Don't forget the Project Runway season premiere is tonight!!! Also, just a reminder that it's not on Bravo anymore but on Lifetime. My DVR is already set to go, and I can't wait! I thought the day would never come. Tim Gunn, I've missed you! Hopefully the designers "MAKE IT WORK!" this season.

wooohoo! you'll be fine girl, mine was less than 15 minutes.. what takes long is the waiting and all the tests right before the actual surgery! have fun wearing funky glasses for a week! hehehe! :)

I have never seen a full episode of Project Runway, but there was a guy who was kicked off earlier in Season 1 i think, who then came back for Season 2. I met him through my old job, and he invited me to a party he was throwing, and some of the other people from the show were going. But I couldn't go - i had a wedding then!

oh, good luck girl! everyone that I know that's done it says great things afterwards. I got eye surgery when i was little (this was way before lasik) and haven't had to wear glasses since. it's great!

That is so cool! My coworker got it and loves it. I always remember watching Jessica Simpson getting it done on newlyweds, haha, it seems pretty simple and definitely worth it. Good luck!

hope it went well for you. i had it done 3 years ago & definitely the best thing i have ever done. it was even worth the sacrifice of wearing glasses & going without make-up for a few days!

Oooh, how did the Lasik go? Husband got it when he was 19 and is back to mild prescription glasses (he was too young and his eyes changed).
