When most people think about pearls, they imagine the traditional white pearls, but now colorful pearls are becoming the trend. And I'm liking the pearls with a touch of color. Here are some examples:

I think colored pearls are so much fun... I love the necklace that Hilary Swank is wearing in that pic. Izzy (I still call her Izzy because she will always be Dr. Stevens to me), on the other hand, looks like she is going to have a sore neck at the end of the night.

The first one if my fav! I am a huge fan of Tahitian pearls...I just don't wear them often as I don't have a lot of outfits that match them. Sigh.

I love pearls!!! Plus they are my birthstone. They are just so classic and they go with everything! I have a pearl necklace on right now...(ew, not that 'other' pearl necklace) Hahahaha!

i think you should go buy some now! pearls are fabulous always!! i will always heart the classic one string white pearls but that three string one i think is a must have!

I used to think pearl necklaces (or pearl anything) were terribly old-fashioned. I do like the more modern takes on them though - especially multi-strand versions and the colorful ones. Lovely choices!

I love pearly things :) I wanted my car pearl white but I ended up with a taffeta white :(

I love the pictures you put up of celebrities and pearl necklaces. It's my first time seeing it. I actually like it! I always considered myself a classic white pearl girl but now that I've seen this, I'd love to upgrade my jewelry to include colorful pearls.

LOVE the black pearls! and the bib pearls! the only problem is they remind me of the zz top song/sexual innuendo about pearl necklaces, but that does not stop me from wearing them!

GORGEOUS stuff!!! Wow! And I LOVE pearls. LOVE. there's something so classic about them. While others were out buying new furniture, eto to signify they'd "made it" after school graduation, I wanted pearls. :) That was my sign for myself. For sure.
