Giveaway Winner and Vibrating Mascara?!
Monday, July 20, 2009
I am proud to present the winner of my Giveaway via random.org..........
Moving on to beauty, have any of you heard of vibrating mascara? They are apparently battery operated and are supposed to mimic the zig-zag motion that a professional makeup artist would use. They're also supposed to separate lashes without clumping. But the thought of me putting something that just vibrates like that to my eyes kind of freaks me out. Have any of you used this before? Does it work well?
Here are some examples:
1) Maybelline Pulse Perfection Vibrating Mascara

2) Lancôme Oscillation

3) Estée Lauder TurboLash

Also, tomatoes are supposed to do wonders for your skin. I stumbled across this item in a magazine:
Yes to Tomatoes Total Treatment Facial Mask
It contains "the potent anti-pxidant Lycopene from organic tomoatoes to brighten, refine, and purify the skin. The Facial Mask contains potassium rich avacado, which improves the skin's moisture retention, while maintaining a balanced, clear complexion". It seems like a good product, but I haven't tried it so I can't really say. I kind of want to try it though...

Congrat's Ocean Dreams, super nice winner too! Mmm I'm with you, wouldn't really like that near my eyes, hard enough controlling my regular one!xxx

Mascara is probably the most important make-up product for me but I have not tried this kind of yet. Normally I prefer Lancôme, Chanel or Lumene Blueberry Curl. That tomato mask sounds interesting!

Your are not alone. I think I'm too accident prone for that product!

UM heck no...and I don't get how it would work any differently. I heart not going blind! :)

I think I would be too freaked out to try a vibrating mascara... Would they be as violent as my electric toothbruch, I wonder?

Okay, that vibrating mascara thing is weird. It makes sense in theory (I guess?), but I'll save vibrating items for other parts of the body. Sorry, had to say it!

Vibrating mascara does seem kind of weird. I'm intrigued but also a little scared. Then again, it could double as something else...;)
