HELP WANTED
Tuesday, May 5, 2009
So I'm a teacher, and the school year is winding down, and I don't have a job for the summer. Even though I'll still get paid during the summer, I want to keep myself busy and make some more money. I kind of want to branch out away from teaching and working with kids and try doing something else for the summer, but I preferably don't want to work retail (my idea of fun is not folding clothes).
I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas of what kind of fun job I can have for the summer? I know with the recession going on and all, it's going to be tough to find a job, but any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys! =)

Have you ever considered teaching a class to adults? You could do a class at a community college on something recreational like floral arrangement, etc. I have a friend who does this and has a lot of fun with it. Also may be retail doesn't sound fun - but working in a home store like Crate & Barrel or Pottery Barn could be okay - plus you get that employee discount which is great.
